Let's Go to San Diego!!

We took a spur of the moment trip to San Diego and boy was it ever worth it.What a beautiful place and a destination to put on your"must see before I die list!" Gorgeous beaches, beautiful flora and fauna, friendly people, amazing zoo,great food and too much to do in a short little trip.The highlight was seeing the masses of seals, all ages and sizes hanging out in the cove at La Jolla beach where we stayed.

There were many newly born pups and many pregnant moms. What a riot and somehow there was one who reminded me very much of my own rolly polly Sparky!
Of course we had to go to the zoo and that was an all day affair. We did the guided bus tour, the sky tram and hiked all over kingdom come to see Pandas, Hippos, Elephants and so much more. I couldn't take my eyes off of the flamingos and there were baby chicks and new life everywhere, Baby tigers(born on my birthday), baby elephants, baby zebras, and a pregnant panda. Life must be really good at the San Diego zoo!!
The beaches were beautiful, the softest whitest sand I've ever felt and I collected a mother load of tumbled sea rocks and stones. I am happy. I will be back!
